The grandson of former Kazakh President Nazarbayev paid 1 billion tenge for Cypriot citizenship. Altai Askar, the eldest son of Timur and Dinara Kulibayev, received a so-called “golden passport” in Cyprus in 2019. This became known a few days ago from a publication in a Cypriot newspaper.
The young man also owns various properties around the world: in Europe, Moscow, and Dubai.
