39-year-old police colonel Kurmanbek Sakhov lives in a luxurious cottage near the arboretum.
This was found out by opposition journalist Natalia Sadykova, who managed to look through the three-meter fence of the policeman’s mansion with the help of a drone.
“It is not a businessman or an oil tycoon who lives here, but a policeman. Sakhov has worked in the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs all his life,” says N. Sadykova.
The area of the cottage is more than 4,000 square meters. There is a swimming pool and a sauna on the territory. Inside there is furniture from Italy, luxury plumbing Villeroy & Boch, white travertine finishing. Also spotted are cars: Toyota Land Cruiser 200 for 40 million tenge, Hyundai Staria for 25 million and Toyota Camry.
A natural question arises: where does police officer Kurmanbek Sakhov get such money from? Moreover, it is known that his wife does not work, and his mother is retired.
Independent media Orda.kz sent a request to the Ministry of Internal Affairs asking for a comment on the information.
